Easy Curtain Rods

It always bothered me that when you buy a curtain rod you spend a bunch of money and then only really see the ends. My favorite curtain rods have been these wooden poles from Home Depot or Lowe's. They are super cheap and you can paint or stain them any color you like...then if you change your colors/decor you can change them as well! I also like that they are solid, not flimsy like some rods. Here are the two that I have done, one teal and one green. For the ends of the wooden curtain rods I used these I found on sale at Lowe's. For the teal rod I used some plain tan knobs from Hobby Lobby. So simple and cute.This one is in our bedroom above our bed.This one is in our living room above our love seat. I love them!
