This project was super easy and so inexpensive! Start with some pickle jars. I decided to only use 2 of them - and since Claussen Dill Pickles are my favorite it was no problem emptying the jars! I hope you love the end product as much as I do! I soaked the jars in water with about a cup of bleach to get all the sticky gunk and wrappers off.
I went to a thrift store and found a few candlesticks, I liked the tall ones best.
I primed and spray painted them white. {including the lids}I had some green gumballs from Stockton's baby shower left so I put them in the jars. I found the knobs at Hobby Lobby on sale for $1.36 a piece - score.I {ok Justin...}marked the center of the lids and drilled holes. I put the knobs in the holes on the lids, obviously :]I then used Gorilla glue to bond the jars to the candlesticks. I also used some hot glue around the edges after just to make sure they didn't come off.
and ta-da....
